It is striking that this type consists of many parts and especially many small parts. This Liberator was made with two heights of wheels and we are restoring this model with the high version.
We haven’t had time to share our news for a while, but we’ll try to keep you up-to-date from now.
If you’re looking for a cast iron frame with a longer springer, the head of the frame is always sawn, which is quite exciting. That’s why we have a strong and beautiful solution for this, a frame head with more degrees.
We transferred as many parts as possible from the donor engine to the new attack kit frame. To put the finishing touches on the bike, we installed a Chopper tank, 2 mm thick rear fender, homemade leather pan saddle, homemade exhausts and the attack kit oil tank.
Since the customer works in construction and would like to incorporate an item from this profession into his Oldskool Chopper, we made a Sissy bar from a piece of rebar. A nice incident is that we got this rebar from the owner who participated in the TV program; ‘Women who Build’. The whole is finished with a license plate with break light.
We are putting together the chassis for a customer. The version will be a Boardtracker Style with two 21 inch wheels and a special front hub with double brakes.
Decades ago, this was a common and attractive way for a setup. At the time, you could buy Japanese star wheels and an Up-Side down fork with brakes very cheaply.
Mounted this in a Hardtail frame and voilà…. a racing monster with charisma!
Sometimes we receive a new project that initially did not work out completely. In consultation with the owner, L&L will make something beautiful again.
For the new job we will use a rear wheel, front wheel, box and block from the donor engine to turn it into a Thunderbike variant. This is equipped with a single side swingarm.
A while ago we manufactured a lowered frame for customer Silvio, suitable for a Ford eight-cylinder flathead block. After this, Silvio took over the further construction of the Ford, he will come back for the finishing touches.
There is currently a demand for the L&L Chopper frames from all over the world.
In France, customer Mathieu is going to make something special out of it. In Germany customer Mike creates a beautiful Chopper from his attack kit and for Dave from the Netherlands L&L can build an Old School version.
This beautiful set contains a Hardtail frame for an Evo, Shovel or Panhead block, a rear wheel for a 200 mm tire and a 16 inch front wheel. All this for the price of € 2,495.-
Here is a model that we have prepared for the open day. You can purchase the depicted model raw (without license plate, not finished), raw with license plate or completely finished (with license plate) according to your own wishes.
We have been making frames according to customer wishes for 35 years, but we have also been working with the Attackkit for a long time. This is a frame where everything from a donor engine can be built to the shape and taste of the customer. The customer can do this all by himself, but we can also help with this. In this case we have provided the rough build with license plate.
Almost no after-market parts are available for the Dyna Glide models. Luckily we already make frames for these models and in this case we have produced an extra short front fork and exhaust kit.
A model with a long fork, low and down, is described as a Swedish model. Jaap wanted such a long front fork that gives you a bit of a Swedish chopper feeling. The tank with content and the softail frame do not belong to this style, but make the chopper unique and completely according to the customer’s wishes.
Customer Frank has always driven standard motorcycles, but the chopper feeling was always there. There is of course always a reason to postpone this wish, but he has now decided to go all the way. Frank chooses this style but on a Softail base.
