The liberator is an engine that is used more and more in the Chopper – Old Skool builds, that’s why we are working on a frame where not only the engine but also the original gearbox and casting is used.

Here you can see a hardtail frame with an I-Beam connection between the block and the triple tree. This frame is made for a Dyna TwinCam block and transmission. Further more we have a 18-inch rear wheel with brass spoke nipples and a 200 tire mounted on the chopper. The front wheel is 23-inch.
The rear fork of the springer is an I-beam design and the front of the springer is going to be something special. The tank, exhaust pipes and rear fender are also Homemade.
Hans and Annemieke already had the KH for several years at home to restore, but maybe you know the program; My husband is a handyman … !?
The KH 1956 sportster sits between the Liberator and the Ironhead Sportster. It is an engine that we have not used before. For the design we chose a hardtail with a single downtube. The front and rear wheel are both 21 inches. Both back and front with the original drum brakes and special tires.
The springer is in an I Beam version and many details will follow!

We continue to innovate at L&L!
See here a hardtail frame with an I-beam connection from the block to the steering head. This frame is made for a Dyna twincam block and gearbox.
We use a 200 rear tire and a 23-inch front wheel.
We’re also looking at whether we can make something special of the springer that we’re going to use. We’ll keep you updated!
There is a rear fender with a broad rib, the exhausts are equipped with thick curved end nozzles and there has been chosen for a Sportster tank with a deep tunnel and a rib (50538).
The stainless steel forward controls are from the new series, running tapes with holes (40611FR).
For this project we used a Hardcore headlight (1302645) and the flow-glide fork in black (3030FR). The black wheels with thick spokes (20406FR) are a perfect fit with it.
If you’re building a special chopper than the exhausts play a big part in its appearance. That’s why we make exhausts according to your wishes.
A customer who has attained the age of 60 has already driven for a while on his original Sportster with a Kings and Queens seat, but he didn’t get the 70’s feeling with it.
Therefore he asked us how we could solve this problem, so here’s the 2011 Sportster in a Softail frame (10164) with hardtail look.
We will disassemble the Sportster and then it will go to the painter.
We already had an electric box for the sportster engines 1302405-6, but now we also have an universal box. This is also made of stainless steel and can be used for every chopper. They are made to fit an ignition switch, startbutton (without relay) and a high-low switch for the headlight.
That’s all you need to build an awesome chopper!
If your Sportster project needs a ribbed theme then this primary cover with rib (1001165) is a beautiful component to complete the picture.
